"Buildings spawn Maple Trees when built. Get extra team cards. Best at: Supporting an Ally." ― In-game description.

Overview

The Canadians are an Anglophone civilization in Age of Empires III: Wars of Liberty.
The Canadian economy is based on the abundance of maple trees in their area of the world. Experienced Canadian lumberjacks gather huge quantities of maple wood in their log cabins, which is then traded with other countries. Canadians love their forests and their government takes measures for the restoration of the trees that are cut, while the Canadian military is equally dependent on wood. The Canadians can gather Wood very quickly using their unique House, the Log Cabin, which trickle Wood, and nearly every building they construct will spawn with trees.
Canadians' Home City cards are focused on being team-oriented with many cards that benefit the entire team. The two factions of the Canadians are New England and New France. Food is not needed to Age up as Wood replaces Food for their Age up costs. They have a strong roster of unique unit options in the early game and in the late game.
